Bulldog Bites

      from the elementary school

_______________________________________________________

Week of November 27-December 1

  • The “Wild West” Book Fair was a lot of fun and a huge success.  Thank you to Heidi Gamble for coordinating the book fair and all of the fun activities included.  Thank you also to all of the wonderful volunteers who were here to help and support Heidi’s outstanding efforts.  We met our goal and will be providing “Cow Pie Feast” to the winning team/herd of all of the contests that were included in the book fair festivities.  WBES made a profit of $2115.24 that will help us pay for the building wide field trip to see The Wiz this spring.  Thank you to everyone who participated in the book fair this year!

  • A Home Language Survey was sent to all Williams Bay families a few weeks ago through School Messenger.  This is an important document that all families should complete for each student.  I have provided the link to this very short survey below in English and in Spanish.  Please complete the survey as soon as possible if you have not already done so.

  • 1st - 5th Grade Winter Concert will be held on Tuesday, December 12 @ 6:30.  Doors will open at 6:00.

    • Students will leave coats with families and sit in assigned seat on the bleachers.

    • Students will sit in the bleachers with their teacher while waiting to sing.

    • While the 5th grade band plays, students will silently move from the bleachers to stage/ stage to bleachers.

    • Dismissal to parents after concert: Mrs. Campbell will call grade levels to leave the gym and line up by grade level cone in the entryway.  One family member will retrieve students from the entryway to avoid congestion and confusion.

  • The 4K/5K Concert will be held on Friday, December 15 at 9:00.  The afternoon 4K class will join the morning class for this concert and will not attend in the afternoon.  There will be a reception with cookies and milk after the concert in the cafeteria.
