I am thrilled to be teaching 1st grade at Williams Bay Elementary. I graduated from Aurora University in 2007 with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I also have an undergraduate degree in Social Work from UW-Whitewater. I live in Elkhorn with my husband and three children ages 8, 12, and 14.
First grade is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. My mission as a teacher is to help children discover the joy of learning, and to help each child develop a strong belief in his or her own ability. I strive each day to make learning a fun and enriching process for children. Teaching children in the primary age group is a very exciting and rewarding experience for me. I have a passion for working with children and creating an environment that they can really strive in during their primary years in a school setting.
