I began my teaching career at Williams Bay Elementary many years ago. I taught second grade here for several years and then moved to Phoenix, Arizona. There I taught gfited education to grades one through six for five years. When I moved back to the area I knew I wanted to return to teaching in Williams Bay because of the wonderful people who make up the school and community. Since I returned to teaching in WB, I have taught second, third, and fourth grades - and my current position with is teaching math to grades one through six. I also teach Thinking Skills class which is part of our gifted program.
My educational background includes: a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a music minor and a Master of Education in Differentiated Instruction from Graceland University. I strive at all times to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. I truly care about each and every one of my students and do everything I can to help them.
I love animals and have had many pets over the years: dogs, hamsters, lizards, and an eight-foot long boa constrictor named Gemini. My current class pet is a chinchilla named Tico. Stop in and see us sometime!
