I have been the Speech-Language Pathologist for the Williams Bay School District since September 2000. I feel fortunate to serve students and families ages 3 through 18 in both our buildings who need a little extra boost with various speech-language skills.
I grew up in East Troy, Wisconsin, and currently live there with my husband Matt, our son Henry, and our dog Scooter. I attended UW-Madison for Pharmacy for two years before finding a career path that felt right to me and transferring to UW-Whitewater for Communicative Disorders. The idea of helping children express their ideas, wants, and needs seemed the perfect fit for me. I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (1998/2000) from UW-Whitewater and continue to supervise graduate students in their program whenever needed. Just last year I took on the new adventure of teaching an undergraduate course for the department.
Besides playing with Henry and chasing Scooter, I enjoy paddling, pedaling, cooking, eating, walking, and of course talking! I love to be outside any chance I can and spending time with family/friends at our cottage up north is definitely my favorite way to pass a summer day.
My years at the Bay have seemed to pass in the blink of an eye and I feel fortunate to come to a job that I LOVE every day. I look forward to helping our future students become effective communicators and the best that they can be!
