After three years of substitute teaching here at Williams Bay, I am excited to have my own classroom this fall! Way back in 1994, I was a 4K teacher for three years, in Verona, WI.  Once I had kids, I made the decision to be a stay at home mom..  I have 5 children that attend (or have graduated from) Williams Bay Schools.  My husband David graduated from WBHS and works in Waterford, WI as a vice president in charge of project management for a computer software company.  When not teaching, I love to be outdoors with my family.  I especially love summertime activities like going to the beach, camping and gardening.  If I have a free day all to myself, I will probably find a bookstore and a good cup of coffee.

As a second grade teacher, I understand that it takes a partnership between home and school to make a successful education experience.  I know that each child learns at a different pace and in a different way. I am confident that the best learning happens when a child is engaged in their learning environment. I believe that some of the best learning happens when a child makes connections with what they are learning, and a great way to make those connections is through multi-sensory learning
